Our largest guest room at The Harbor Rose Bed and Breakfast is at the “top of the house,” and our guests must be comfortable with stairs. It features an antique bedroom set, cable TV, alarm clock radio, a sitting area, writing desk, lovely afternoon sunlight, and plenty of room to dance, do yoga, and cartwheels! There are two windows facing south and one facing east. The east-facing window is located at the end of a dormer-ed alcove, and early morning sunlight is blocked by the topography of the hillside. What’s unique about The Harbor Hill at The Harbor Rose Bed and Breakfast? Our only guest room with wall-to-wall carpeting, The beautiful antique bedroom set is complete with a queen size bed. The Harbor Hill and bath have slanted walls, so if you are a professional basketball player or otherwise very tall, you may be more comfortable in the Victorian Room or the Vanderbilt Room at The Harbor Rose Bed and Breakfast. Although we have central air conditioning, this room is supplemented with a window air conditioner in the summer. If you enjoy a very cold room in the summer, the Harbor Hill is a good option. The Sights and Sounds: You feel like you are in your own private oasis in the Harbor Hill. You will enjoy the pitter-patter of rain on the roof, and whether the windows are open or closed, this is a very quiet room.
If you are traveling and require 2 guest rooms the Parlor Suite and the Princess Room are perfect for those who what the privacy of the entire 3rd floor and are comfortable with stairs.
